project aims to establish a cohort of Qu\u00e9bec adults in order to understand how dietary and lifestyle habits affect the health of Qu\u00e9becers. NQ will help identify factors associated with social inequalities that influence the relationship between lifestyle behaviors and health, and propose intervention targets for at-risk populations, as outlined in the governmental public health prevention policy.<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration between CARTaGENE and NQ notably involves sharing expertise, access to a population-based cohort, recontacting participants and administering consent, as well as conducting data linkage activities. The project, like any other collaboration, allows user-researchers to access and link CARTaGENE (CaG) data with NQ data. All CaG participants who can still be contacted by email have been invited. CaG participants enrolled in NQ will be invited to complete the same questionnaires once a year for a period of three years (with the option to continue participation for up to 25 years). The questionnaires cover diet, lifestyle habits, personal characteristics, and
