This partnership, initially called the Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow Project and now known as the Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow\u2019s Health (<a href=\"https:\/\/canpath.ca\/en\/\">CanPath<\/a>), aimed to build a comprehensive, long-term pan-Canadian health research platform with sufficient statistical power to examine the complex interaction between genetic and environmental factors contributing to the development of major chronic diseases in the Canadian population.<\/p>\n<p>CanPath now brings together a confederation of provincial and regional cohorts located in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Qu\u00e9bec, and the Atlantic provinces (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador).<\/p>\n<p>CanPath provides detailed genomic, clinical, behavioral, and environmental data on 330,000 Canadians to enable the global research community to generate evidence for informing health
