It brings together biological samples and detailed data on the health and lifestyle habits of <strong>43,000 Quebec residents<\/strong> <strong>aged 40 to 69<\/strong> at the time of recruitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through <strong>broad consent<\/strong>, these data and samples can be used by research teams from the public and private sectors for health research projects. The platform provides <strong>more than 13,000 variables<\/strong> with longitudinal follow\u2011up, including physical measures, environmental and nutritional data, MRI data, biochemical data, and genetic information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These data are <strong>linked to administrative health databases<\/strong> <strong>dating back to 1998<\/strong> (hospitalizations, diagnoses, medications, deaths, cancer registries, etc.). Genealogical reconstructions are also available for participants who contributed to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.balsac.ca\/en\/\">BALSAC<\/a><\/strong> project. CARTaGENE is part of the pan\u2011Canadian <a href=\"https:\/\/canpath.ca\/en\/\"><strong>CanPath<\/strong> <\/a>consortium, which harmonizes data from <strong>300,000 individuals<\/strong> across the
