answer Health Canada\u2019s questions about the safety and effectiveness of commonly prescribed medications. The analyses focus on three main areas:<\/p>\n<p>Antidepressants (SSRIs\/SNRIs): determining whether they increase the risk of fractures.<br \/>\nHypertension: comparing the real\u2011world effectiveness of thiazide diuretics, which remain underused despite being effective and low\u2011cost.<br \/>\nDiabetes: evaluating the safety and impact of different types of insulin and oral treatments on hypoglycemia, blood sugar control (HbA1c), and weight.<\/p>\n<p>This work helps health authorities better understand real\u2011world medication use and supports evidence\u2011based
