class=\"ft-contenu__body-col col-12 col-lg-8\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"ft-contenu__texte\"><p>Every individual carries small genetic differences that contribute to human diversity. This project aims to better understand how a type of rare genetic variation, known as copy number variants (CNVs), influences cognitive abilities in the general population. Using genetic and cognitive data collected through CARTaGENE, the research team is examining the effects of these variants on functions such as reasoning, memory, and reaction time. Findings to date show that some of these genetic variants can have measurable effects on cognition and that their influence is distributed across many genes involved in brain development and function. This research is helping to improve our understanding of the genetic factors that contribute to differences in cognitive abilities among
