class=\"ft-contenu__body-col col-12 col-lg-8\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"ft-contenu__texte\"><p>Sleep disorders are common and partly influenced by genetic factors that are still not well understood. This project aimed to identify genetic variants associated with insomnia and sleep duration.<br \/>\nThe research team used genetic data and questionnaire responses from CARTaGENE participants.<br \/>\nTwo complementary approaches were conducted: a case-control study comparing individuals diagnosed with insomnia to CARTaGENE participants, focusing on genes involved in serotonin, GABA, and adenosine pathways, and a genome-wide association study (GWAS) examining habitual sleep duration.<br \/>\nThe results are encouraging, particularly for certain genes involved in sleep regulation. Additional analyses helped confirm and further explore these findings.<br \/>\nThis work contributes to a better understanding of the biological basis of sleep and may help guide future prevention and
