class=\"ft-contenu__body-col col-12 col-lg-8\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"ft-contenu__texte\"><p>Quebec has a unique demographic history that has helped shape the genetic diversity observed across its regions today. By combining genealogical information from the BALSAC database with genetic data from CARTaGENE, this project aims to better understand how population movements and shared ancestry have influenced the distribution of genetic variation in Quebec over time.The research team will develop models to study ancestral connections between Quebec communities and explore how historical migration patterns have shaped the genetic structure of the present-day population. This work will contribute to the development of the Linked Ancestry Map of Quebec, a bilingual resource designed to support research in population genetics and health.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, the project will improve our understanding of Quebec\u2019s demographic history and provide new tools for studying the relationships between ancestry, genetics, and population
