Summary

This project aimed to demonstrate the feasibility of an integrated platform to support precision health research. Funded by the Government of Quebec, the ARCHI pilot project tested an infrastructure designed to securely connect genomic, clinical, and administrative data. As part of this work, data from CanPath were used, including 2,000 CARTaGENE samples that were genotyped, along with existing sequencing data and questionnaire information. The project evaluated the security, traceability, and performance of a prototype integrated platform, while conducting an exploratory study on genetic and clinical risk factors for cancer and cardiovascular disease. The results demonstrate the technical and organizational feasibility of such an infrastructure, an essential step toward advancing precision medicine in Quebec.
